Need to collaborate on a group project? The Information Commons in the John T. Richardson Library has the space and tools you need!
Your group doesn’t have to huddle around a tiny laptop to work; use one of the media:scape tables instead. Media:scape tables seat up to six group members and have large monitors into which you can plug and share your laptop, tablet, or mobile device. Each table has several cables and more are available for check out at the Access Services desk. Reserve a table for your group today.
If your group needs to solve equations, hash out problems, or express its creative side, use a white board. The six white boards have wheels so you can roll them to any part of the Commons you’re working in. Check out dry erase markers from the Access Services desk.
After a long group study session, recharge yourself and your computer with a laptop locker. Laptop lockers allow you to safely stash your computer and charge it at the same time, while you and your group steps away for some needed refreshment. Check out laptop locker keys at the Access Services desk.
The Information Commons is a collaboration zone, so no one will shush you there. Bring your group and collaborate in the Information Commons today!
